FRED GWYNNE (1926-1993)
This Bust started as an actual life cast mask from Fred Gwynne's face.
It has then been sculpturally enhanced by artist Erick
Erickson to depict Gwynne in our favorite
role HERMAN MUNSTER.
The make up originally created by Bud Westmore has been faithfully reproduced.
The original mold for the forehead has been studied to be as true as possible
to the makeup effect for the Munsters TV show.
The bust is a very large and spectacular display great for a home theater
room. Fred Gwynne was a gentle giant, he was a great straight actor, author
and artist . But I like him best as TVs Funnyman from the 60s. Do we ever
laugh out loud while watching TV like we did for
Phil Silvers Show, Car 54 or the
Munsters. That was Great stuff and the expressive
rubber face and manner that sold it was Fred Gwynne. He is truly a Giant
this cast is 9 X 13 inches.
EACH BUST IS SIGNED AND NUMBERED BY THE ARTIST.
The sculpture is cast in Tuf-Cal a fiber filled Gypsum cement with polymer
additives.
This sculpture
is finished in Silver Screen Silver, then rubbed with an Antiquing overlay
to bring out the detail. It is then sealed to preserve it.Great for a Home
Theater Room. The sculpture is ready for hanging. The sculpture is a 1
to 1 full scale cast . It is 9 inches by 13 inches.
